As designers took cues from aeorspace engineers, the new faciscnation with the skies infiltrated homes with everyday objects inspired by space travel, like this vintage 1960s mid-century modern musical United States rocket ship decanter. Yes you read right--A ROCKET SHIP DECANTER THAT ALSO PLAYS MUSIC. Inside the base of the decanter is a small music box that when wound, plays "How Dry I Am" when the decanter rises and unlocks the small latch that inside the music box.
Gold tone body reads "UNITED STATES" vertically down the center. The interior of the decanter is glass. The cork stopper around the spout is in excellent condition.
This makes an excellent gift for your favorite star-gazing home bartender or beverage enthusiast.
