Rare Memphis Style Curtis Jere Sculpture

Wow! This rare, large Memphis Style postmodern sculpture by Curtis Jere is unlike any other Jere sculpture we've ever seen! In a drastic departure from their usual brutalist, mixed-metal aesthetic, this Memphis Style sculpture is colorful, geometric, and playful. 

Soft red, yellow, and mauve metal rings accented with 2 blue and yellow wood spheres orbit the blue metal zig-zag body, making this a fun piece in muted primary colors. This versatile sculpture is perfectly sized to either rest on the floor or a surface and it looks great from any angle. Made of metal, wood, and spray paint. Signed "C. Jere, 1988."
