Rare Vintage 1970s Leopard Sculpture

This fantastic vintage 1970s extra large leopard sculpture is ready to put the finishing touch on your urban jungle. The details and contours of the face add a lifelike quality to the piece. Purchased from the home of the original owner, this regal feline is in mint condition.

Although it was produced by Marwal Ind Inc, which was known for its impeccable chalkware sculptures, this piece appears to be made from a molded composite. It is quite heavy and feels more durable than traditional chalkware. This piece is coated in a thick coat of lacquer, giving it a nice high-gloss, ultra-smooth finish. CONDITION

Mint condition. No chips, cracks, or blemishes. There is a small drip of lacquer at the base of the chin chin from when it was produced (as shown in photos). It is only visible from certain angles and very small but worth noting so there are no surprises to the buyer.
