This rare floral painting by Shari Hatchett is exceptional. I can only find one other painting like it, since her style of work has changed significantly. This painting is in near-mint condition with minor wear to the white-washed wood frame, as pictured. I have provided close-ups of the painting—these serve as part of this item’s description.
This painting was purchased from the suburban Chicago estate of Burt Meyer, the inventor of the Light Bright and Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots!
Shari Hatchett Bohlman has been creating art since the 1960s. Her collectors include Bob Hope, Frank Sinatra, Diana Ross, and Quincy Jones. Shari’s works have graced the walls of the White House since Lyndon Johnson’s presidency and have been collected by every presidential family since. President Reagan commissioned her to paint “Easter at the White House” and President Bill Clinton commissioned her to paint “Holidays at the White House” for the permanent White House collection.
